Your panel size. Your scraps. Every cut size worked out.
Korean jogakbo tutorials teach the reversible seam and stop there. Fixed patterns assume a window you do not have. Enter the finished size you need and the largest scrap you can cut from, and get a numbered layout, a cutting chart that already includes the seam allowance, and the order to sew it.

How it works
Three pages, one download
- The layout. The whole panel drawn to one scale with every piece numbered by column and position.
- The cutting chart. Each numbered piece with its cut size and its finished size. The cut size already includes your seam allowance on all four sides.
- The sewing order. Piece each column top to bottom, then join the columns left to right. Every seam is straight, so a flat felled or French seam works throughout.
Column widths and row heights are chosen at random within your scrap limit and rounded to the nearest eighth of an inch or half centimetre, then adjusted so the pieces still add up to exactly the finished size you asked for. Each plan carries a seed; regenerating with the same seed reprints the same chart. The PDF is generated in this tab and nothing is uploaded.
FAQ
Before you cut
Is this free?
Yes. This version has no payment and no account.
Is this a traditional jogakbo layout?
It is a strip-pieced interpretation. Columns of irregular rectangles are the most common machine-sewable structure and the one that keeps every seam straight. Historical jogakbo also uses pieces that meet at odd angles, which this version does not generate.
Can I use it with only small scraps?
Yes, within reason. Enter your largest scrap and the plan will never ask for a bigger piece. If the scrap is too small to leave a sewable piece once two seam allowances are removed, the tool says so instead of producing a chart you cannot cut.
Does the chart account for shrinkage or fraying?
No. Prewash and press before you cut, and add to the seam allowance if you are working with a loose weave such as ramie.
Is my data stored?
No. Your measurements stay in this browser tab. Only anonymous usage events and feedback are recorded.
